Jason Schneider “Salute to a Hero” Memorial Golf Tournament
Held annually on the first Monday in May at Hillendale Country Club, Baldwin, MD, the tournament is the signature event presented by the Blue Valor Foundation. The tournament is a “captains choice” format, shotgun start, with competitions for longest drive and closest to the pin. The tournament provides prizes for teams finishing in first through fifth places. The tournament has featured appearances by sports legends Brooks Robinson (Baltimore Orioles), Ron Hansen (Baltimore Orioles), Tom Matte (Baltimore Colts), Al Bumbry (Baltimore Orioles), Andy North (ESPN, Two Time U.S. Open winner), area politicians as well as sponsorship from none other than the late PGA Hall of Famer, “The King”, Arnold Palmer. This event has quickly become one of the premiere golf events in the Baltimore area and has a waiting list for participation. The foundation is currently accepting sponsor requests for this year’s event, which will be held on Monday, May 1 at Hillendale Country Club. Foursomes for this year’s event will be available to previous foursome owners on February 1, 2023! This event has Sold-Out every year and 2023 will be no exception! To find out more, contact T.J. The foundation will be teaming with Chesapeake Automotive Storage and Detailing on Saturday, February 25, 2023 while they host an Open House and BBQ, 4-7:30pm. J.C. Beattie will be on hand to talk about ATI Racing Components, drag racing and other recing topics. Mission BBQ will be on hand with their world famous BBQ!
